An airplane trip into West Virginia flew me directly over this Wind Farm near Elkins, West Virginia. Many are opposed to this type of energy because of the look of the turbines on mountain tops. There is controversy also about how many birds die as a result of flying into these turbines. Personally I think they have a sculptural appearance and are preferable to coal-powered electric plants.
