This creative hawk was hanging upside down by one talon, dangling from the power line cable. It must have been hunting for rodents in the field across from my house. It hung around in this odd, inverted position for about 8-10 minutes. That was just enough time for me to go inside, grab my camera and change my lens. The hawk was not injured. It was scoping out the field for a snack.
